Nestled at the end of the Prättigau valley, Klosters has retained its charm as an unspoilt mountain village with mainly chalet style buildings. Discreet luxury and understatement are the key words here! The village is small with mainly local shops rather than flagship stores of international brands but boasts a great variety of restaurants and bars offering a range of choices from simple pub style meals to fine dining experiences.
Our apartment is a mere 10 minute walk from the centre of the village and the station of the Gotschnabahn which takes you up into the world famous Parsenn skiing area. The location is quiet, overlooking a small lake with uninterrupted views from all the widows of the mountains and the village. Directly behind the house is the beginning of the cross country (Langlauf ) skiing piste and the nursery slopes and skating, ice hockey and curling rink are only 5 minutes walk away .
While mainly a winter destination, Klosters is also ideal for hiking, cycling and golf holidays in the summer.
